The NFL has seen some great matchups so far this season, with plenty more to come. We look at the three most exciting games of the week 10 slate and predict what’s in store for Sunday afternoon.
The NFL Week 10 matchups are in full swing and there’s no shortage of action. Here we’ll look at three games that could have huge implications on playoff seeding come January: Detroit Lions vs New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys vs Seattle Seahawks, and Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears.
The “week 10 nfl pick em 2021” is a simple way to make predictions for the upcoming NFL games. The 3 most intriguing matchups of Week 10 are the New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers, and Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks.
We’ve made it to Week 10 of the NFL schedule, which means we’ve officially entered the second half of the 2021 season. It also signifies that things are starting to heat up. You might argue that 29 clubs are still in contention for a playoff spot (sorry, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, and Detroit Lions fans). No team’s destiny is predetermined.
This week’s byes include the Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, and New York Giants. There are still a lot of intriguing teams to watch. This week’s games feature two games with returning star quarterbacks, two games with the same coach, and two games against division rivals. Here are the three most fascinating NFL Week 10 matches.
Sunday, November 14, 1:00 p.m. EST, CBS, Cleveland Browns vs. New England Patriots
We’ve come a long way since Bill Belichick’s turbulent tenure as head coach of the Cleveland Browns. But it’s the New England Patriots’ owner who would still get ready for a vengeance game over 30 years later.
There’s a lot going on in this NFL Week 10 matchup outside the Belichick drama. On the Cleveland side, it seemed like Baker Mayfield would be the starter, and the Browns were relieved of a 198-pound burden when Odell Beckham Jr. was released. Was it just a fluke, or are the Browns truly that much better now that OBJ isn’t around?
We could find out on Sunday. If Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton are unable to participate due to COVID-19 regulations, a defeat might simply be the consequence of the squad being short-handed and without its best player.
New England’s team, as well as rookie quarterback Mac Jones, are doing better than predicted. The squad is 5-4 in the AFC East, only a half-game behind the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots seem to be the genuine deal.
However, a deeper examination of the schedule reveals victories against the New York Jets (twice), Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, and Carolina Panthers. That isn’t exactly the NFL’s Murderer’s Row.
Beating a talented Browns team would be a great next step in establishing Jones and Belichick’s club is the real thing.
Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks — Sunday, November 14, 4:25 p.m. EST, CBS

This is without a doubt the finest game on the NFL Week 10 schedule. The NFL is known for its quarterbacks, and these two clubs have two of the greatest.
Russell Wilson returns after a three-game absence due to a finger injury to his throwing hand. Geno Smith, the backup quarterback, did a decent job holding down the fort. Wilson’s absence, however, resulted in the Seattle Seahawks going 1-3. The NFC West is fast slipping away at 3-5. The Los Angeles Rams are 7-2 while the Arizona Cardinals are 8-1.
This game isn’t exactly for the team’s season, since Seattle still has two games against LA and two against Arizona, but it’s pretty dang close.
Aaron Rodger must be overjoyed to be back at the helm of the Green Bay Packers after his vaccination and COVID-19 ordeal. While he informed Pat McAfee there’s a possibility he won’t be able to play on Sunday due to health issues, all signals point to his returning.
Rodgers will be happy to remind people that public health, politics, and celebrity culture aren’t his strong suits after delving into those topics in the previous two weeks. Football is a sport. After Jordan Love’s poor performance last week, he no longer has Jordan Love breathing down his neck. That may put a spring in Rodgers’ stride as well.
While 2021 may be the year of the backup quarterback, this is a showdown between two future Hall of Fame starters, which is the most exciting sort of NFL clash to witness.
Sunday, November 14, 8:20 p.m. EST, NBC, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders
The NFL Week 10 battle between Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers has the potential to be as beautiful as it is terrible.
What’s wrong with the Kansas City Chiefs is the most pressing topic heading into the 2021 NFL season. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are coming off back-to-back victories against the New York Giants and the Packers without Aaron Rodgers, but neither performance was encouraging.
Despite the Chiefs’ inexplicable offensive difficulties over the previous three seasons, they are still 5-4 and just a half-game behind the AFC West’s most chaotic division.
The 2021 season for the Las Vegas Raiders will be chaotic to say the least. Tragic is getting closer.
Most NFL clubs would have been devastated by the Jon Gruden controversy, the Henry Ruggs II disaster, and now the Damon Arnette fiasco. Furthermore, these difficulties have the potential to utterly derail Las Vegas’ once-promising season.
The Raiders, on the other hand, are the only team that can survive and even prosper under these dreadful, unprecedented conditions.
Last week, the team blew it against the Giants at MetLife Stadium, although you may blame it on the west-to-east journey or the Giants’ better defense.
It’s time to define the season for the Silver and Black in an NFL Week 10 Sunday Night Football battle.
A defeat most often means the squad is over. A victory would be crucial for the team’s playoff chances and would demonstrate that they still have some of Al Davis’s “we against the world” mojo.
Whoever wins, that club will be in the driver’s seat in the AFC West (slightly shockingly either way).
